At the beginning of 2016 a new assortment of Marine & Offshore certified generators will become available as part of the rental fleet for the offshore industry. The machinery has been designed specifically for offshore deployment and complies with the IMO Tier II emissions regulations and is designed to meet the IACS, SOLAS and NORSOK requirements. Bredenoord, specialist in mobile power solutions and DBR, independent offshore genset supplier, develop this rental fleet together. DBR builds the machinery and Bredenoord, supported by it’s many years’ rental experience, provides fast installation by qualified technicians at any location.
The new offshore rental gensets can easily fulfill the high standard Marine & Offshore requirements for use in harsh environments and under heavy duty conditions. Without adjustments the machinery can be deployed safely in the Marine & Offshore, wind energy and petrochemical industry. In addition to NORSOK, DNV-GL and IMO Tier II, the generators are containerized according DNV2.7-1 regulations for offshore lifting. Bredenoord will present the new rental fleet during Offshore Energy in Amsterdam on 13 and 14 October at stand 11.079. You can register here for your entrance ticket.
